A note about the notes: The notes posted are points of discussion from our lectures (projected for one and all to ponder). The purpose of posting them is so that you may concentrate on the lecture and classroom discussion instead of trying to jot everything down. However if you do not attend the main lecture and study the text, these notes will not be very helpful. So, read the text and I’ll see you in class!
Week 1

Note to students: An iphone was left in class today. An ethical student turned it in to me, and I've taken it to the lost and found in UC.
Logic Note: The "Logical Reasoning" component on our syllabus refers to the logic slides discussed in class. There are no separate readings - only what is presented in lecture.
