Congratulations, Jacob!
Having earned a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Science last year, philosophy student, ethics bowler, and stalwart of the philosophy club Jacob Spicer returned (with short hair!) this weekend to be the second person in the history of our program to walk the stage and receive his second degree, the Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy.
Congratulations, Jacob! We're so very proud of you!

It never would have happened without the support of all of the philosophy professors, whose passion for their subject matter was contagious. If anyone is still on the fence about making the jump from minor to major, I am finding that the skills learned within the Philosophy Bachelors degree are far more rewarding, both personally and professionally, than those I gained from my science degree. Science taught me facts, but I learned how to think and how to correctly apply scientific priciples with the Philosophy faculty at the helm.
